Armenian MMA. No compromise.
ARMAT Fight Show (AFS) is the Armenian MMA promotion based in Yerevan. The word "armat" means "root" — we are building the foundation for a new generation of Armenian fighters.
Why AFS exists
AFS is the brainchild of two well-known fighters — Armen Gulyan and Eduard Vartanyan. They built the league they themselves never had access to in Armenia.
Armenian fighters have long competed on the biggest stages — Arman Tsarukyan in the UFC, Eduard Vartanyan in ACA, dozens of names in ONE and in boxing. But until now the path to those stages always went through Moscow, Grozny or São Paulo.
AFS rewrites that geography. Tournaments at Tashir Arena, a training infrastructure built in Yerevan and a 15 million dram prize purse on the very first show — a record for Armenian martial arts. Plus a format where top amateurs face professionals on the same night.
This is not a niche local tournament. It is a statement: the best Armenian fighters train, fight and win at home.
Three pillars
Strength
Uncompromising physical, technical and tactical preparation. No shortcuts in the ring or in the gym.
Honor
Respect for the opponent, the roots and the flag. Professional officiating and transparent rules as a baseline.
Spirit
A fighter is not technique. A fighter is the will to keep going when stopping is easy.
